Why do people at the Olympics take or do drugs ? that's the one question that i wish i knew and i could tell you. Why  do people take drugs or use drugs in the Olympics to win?  I cant read minds but i can try and tell you why you should never use drugs to win anything and if you don't agree with me right now then i'm pretty sure after my speech  your mind will be changed .In 1967  the IOC had introduced the rule that there shall be no more use of taking drugs at the Olympics which i think was an amazing rule,  why should people be allowed  to take drugs ? its just like a way to cheat your way to success and win , But since that rule has been made some did not really agree with it so they took drugs anyway , Which i personally think is a huge mistake. players competing in the Olympics should not even need to take drugs to get there success for that gold medal,  and if they do take drugs there not just letting the country down ,there family down,there coach down , the girls and boys out there that look up to them there letting there self down by cheating. weather you get caught or not taken drugs to enhance your performance does not make you a champion at all, it makes you a cheat..
. in the 1960's and the 1970's alot of the German teams took anabloic steroids but they were not the ones that had them  their coaches and there trainers gave the drugs to them which i think is appalling no coach no trainner should ever and i mean ever give them the use of drugs, this  encourages them not only to cheat put potentially harms them and also stops them knowing their full potential.  There has been alot of athletes in the olympics that have been caught using a drug to enhance there performance here are some of them  Ben Johnson  1988 Olympics sprinter who won mens 100 meters sprint was positive for taking stanozolol shame on him.  Victoria baranova Russia Women' s sprinter was caught taking testosterone shame on her. Anton Galkin a russian athletete caught taking stanzolol shame on you and the lastest one  nadzeya ostapchuk won gold medal in shot put  but was tested  and was found postive of taking drugs shame on you!!! And today i stand here to be a proud supporter of Valerie Adams who got a gold medal through hard work, hard training, total commitment, early morning sessions 100 percent dedication to get gold and most of all 100% drug free.
 Drug free is the best way to acheive in any sport that you play especially in the amazing olympics, a quote i like to use" Cheaters give up, winners never do".   i hope ive changed your mind and you agree with me thank you for listening to my speech 

DEVON

this week well not a week more like 3 days  was probely the most amazingest 3 days ever on monday i traveled from rotorua all the way to new plymouth i slept for the first 2 and a half hours cause i had two seats to my self. We stopped at the big apple which is is 2 and a half hours away from new plymouth .After stopping at the big apple our bus driver said we were allowed to watch a movies we watched how to train a dragon we had 3 tv's in our bus pretty cool. 

When the movie finshed we were just 30 mins away from new plymouth and i was excited but nervos . We got to devon and went with our billets home , The next day it was netball time:) first we had a powiri first or or a welcoming and speeches it was boring as .

\At 11 we started playing netball and in the first half mokia year 8's were losing but then in the last half id have to say we were on fire and we won by alot i think it was 36-23 to mokioa yay:) After all the sports were over we all went home with our billets and got ready for the disco at 7 . The disco was pretty cool they had cool as music.

Our last day in devon was pretty sad well to me i didnt want to leave devonwe all had to say our farewells to our billents and our new friends that we made . So now we were on the road again and it was nt the greatest weather in the world .We stopped at the big apple again and we got to have this buffa thin it was yum as . 

and then we just came back to rotorua and that was about my devon trip

Greek Gods and Maori Gods

I am  writing about greek Gods and Maori Gods so here is some things that i know about them

Greek Gods 

Greek people believe in more than one God they all  have positions or as said like roles like Zeus is the god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods and like Hades is  the god of wealth.Greek Gods were also not allowed to have any contacted with there half blood daughters or sons but to keep them safe from the outside world they would go to a special camp for half bloods which means when a God has an baby with an mordol it is safer to go to the camp then the outside world But then they made a rule that no God is allowed to have anymore kids with mordol people but not much gods stuck to that rule.

 Maori Gods 
Maori mythology the Maori gods have two main gods and the Greek god have one god and that is Zeus and his symbol is a lightning bolt and the two main Maori gods are Ranginui and papatuanuku and Rangi’s symbol is the sky and Papa’s symbol is the earth.Also ranginui and papatuanuku had 70 children together but only  of them are ever spoke about and nobody reaally knows who the other 63 children are ,But ranginui and papatuanuku had eyes everywhere like how ranginui is the God of the sky so she watches her children from above and papatuanuku watches out for them from earth so that way they know whats happening.
so that is the things that i know about the maori Gods and the greek Gods 

 similarMaori people believe in kinda the same as Greek people like how Zeus is the God of the sky , ranginui is the God of the sky to the Maori people , whiro is the God of darkness , Hades is the God of evil .They both believe in more than one God .

The different thing about the Greek and Maori gods is that the Greek gods have 12 plus 2 and the Maori gods have 7 plus 2 main gods and that is Ranginui and Papatuanuku and the Greeks main god is Zeus and some of the Maori gods are just the same as the Greek gods, but not all of them. Gods were not allowed to see the half blooded children on the other hand the maori Gods were allowed to see there children but  like ranginui and papatuanuku had 70 children but only 7 are only spoke about and ever mentioned so everyone wonders .

My weekend :)

My weekend was pretty boring all i did was paly netball on saturday and sunday but on sunday i had a netball reps tornement in Camebridge i liked playing there cause i hav nt played there before .We had 4 games and then we played our hardest game of the day it was easten waiktio because last year we lost to them by 6 last year .It was a really close game and i had to come of at half time because of my sholder at half time it was 6-5 to them but at the end of the game we lost by 1 the score was 14-13 to them  .After all my netball i went home with tara and eden i got home at 4 and just sat on facebook and listined to music and watched pretty  little liars 
And that was my weekend:)   

what do i think should be a wonder of the world ?

i think in my opinion ROTORUA:) should be a wonder of the world 

and you know why - because i would have to say that it is one of the most beautiful towns i have ever seen,  And you know why because the lakes are just so beautiful and the good thing is there clean not much lakes in New Zealand are  as clean as the ones in Rotorua alot of them are just like  dumps, the loud geysers, the boiling hot pools are relaxing, the beautiful hot springs, the amazing mud pools like hells gate, the history in Rotorua has alot of story's that i like, Hinemoa and Tutanekai  i love that story.    Hinemoa use to swim across from Mokoia island to Tutanekai when ever she heard him playing his flute, its a beautiful love story .  The volcanic terraces like mt tarawera, are a historic point in Rotorua after the eruption.  Rotorua is also a place where alot of tourist come to visit our town because of all our great wonders Rotorua, But  rotorua has a wonder of the world people say that the pink and white terraces is the 8th wonder of the world and it should be.  I wish they were still here but they had been buried from the mt tarawera eruption which killed over one hundred people in 1886  . Well this is why think that rotorua should be a wonder of the world:)

well how did i put my kWHL on my blog ? 

well all i did was copyed it and then i just pasted it simple as that:) and then how did i put my powepoint on? 

well i got amy to help me but i saved it in my folder and then i clicked it to be a windows media video and then yeah but im still just waiting for it to save to my blog:)

I have learnt how tornado’s form , the deadliest tornado’s in the world tornado’s kill and hurt people a tornado can travel mph that the avenge speed but the fastest tornado in the world was recorded as 75mph . I learnt how people that has been through this terrible natural disaster I learnt what they do to make things seem better.

But you know the thing you should never do when you see a tornado do I try and out run it in a car or even on your feet because you can never out ran a tornado . Anything that gets in a tornado is defiantly going to be destroyed tornado is just like a bully. I have also learnt a lot of good and usefully safety tip that would probably help me heaps if I saw a tornado coming my way for example make sure your wearing shoe where so it protects your feet from like broken glass and other broken things.

the thing that I never knew was that if a tornado picks you up the is a 50% chance that you will live but the other 50% chance is that you would die but there has been some lucky people that has been picked up by a tornado and lived and they have told their stories . Also there was a little tornado in the city of Auckland and I think it was  people that died and there were others that got hurt but a business got reeked  from the tornado.

Those are the thing that I learnt by making my power point but I did learn a lot from others in my classes power points . In taines power point I learnt some cool facts about the Samoa tsunami and that earthquake’s  course tsunami’s .

Mountains, mountains are big, mountains are tall , mountains have snow and mountains have falls . mount Everest is the biggest mountains only one person who has climbed it with out a fall .

This morning we had fitness it was like cold as like ice:O well anyways my time today for the 1.5km run was 11mins and 35sec :)

In the weekend i had my netball game but i was nt sure if i was going to play of not becasue the week before i had been sick all week witch was pretty dumb well my game was at 10:45 and we were playing R.I.S year 7's. i was felling alright so i played in the 2nd half and guess what i got 100% in my shorting:D yay and i got player of the day:) . On sunday maata came to my whare and we went t meet up with my best friend bronte. we went and got a like huge ice cream and it toke use like ages to eat and we toke like heaps of photos and yeah that was my weekend:)

today for fitness we had to run around the feild none stop for 10 mins i got 3 laps :)

WOMEN TRAPPED IN A VEHICLE>:(

 Lady was trapped inside the vehicle for over an hour the Emergency services had to cut the roof off to treat a woman passenger stuck inside.The women was trapped in there efor over an hour with no help or and service. The male driver managed to get out of the car with nothing wrong with him.The lady had spinal injuries to me she is a very strong and lucky lady. All this scary and terible crash happend on there way to taupo. the lady is now still in Waikato Hospital.

MY LOVELY WEEKEND:)

In the weekend I had netball on saturday were playing year 7s A team kaitoa. We bet them by 25 I think the score at the end of the day was 39-15 to use mokoia :) .After my awesome game I went to watch my little sisiters game she played really good but she got pulled of the court cause she and this other girl had a full on fight but my sister said it was the other girls fault . After netball maata came to my house for the night that was pretty cool .On sunday it was my step dads birthday so we all went out for his birthday and that but on the bad side i had netball reps :( but that was alright but when I got home there was something on my bed :o IT WAS A LAPTOP :) I was pretty happy but I dont know why I got that cause it was nt my birthday haha.Later on we all just had a big family bbq WELL THAT WAS MY AWESOME WEIRD WEEKEND <3

Yesterday night at 7:40pm i played my first game baseketball of the year i was really excited but that all changed in the last half i was dribbling the ball to the goal and then this angry dumb girl came and just tacked my to the ground like it was rugby and she did it on purpose to witch got me angry so i went and tackled her over then she punched my tummy later in the game and then i got slapped on the face but at the end of the day we still won YAYAYAYAYAY score 28-14 to mokoia :)
